Emmerdale will air more shocks in the aftermath of the 'Who Killed Emma?' reveal tonight (December 15) as the police close in on one suspect.

Thursday night's tense double bill of episodes confirmed that Moira Dingle was responsible for Emma's deadly fall from the viaduct in October.

The whodunit was finally resolved after Cain realised that Moira was hiding something big about the day that Emma died.

Moira pushed Emma after she cruelly taunted her over the tragic death of her daughter Holly. Emma was deliberately trying to push Moira into killing her, because her strict religious beliefs stopped her from taking her own life.

However, the drama shows no sign of slowing down in tonight's episode (December 15) as the police start to close in one suspect.

Fans will have to wait and see whether this is Moira, or someone who wasn't responsible, but we do know that this is all leading up to an arrest being made.

The shock development will have devastating consequences as more truths are revealed, but who do the police have in their sights?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
