Emmerdale passion as Rhona sleeps with Pete

Emmerdale's Rhona Goskirk will spend the night with Pete Barton next week as she tries to move on from Paddy Kirk once and for all.

When Rhona (Zoe Henry) realises that she can't keep holding out hope for a reunion with Paddy, she looks for some new love in her life and asks Pete for a drink.

After meeting at The Woolpack and having a great time together, it doesn't take long before they head back to the Barton house for more.

The surprise new partnership kiss passionately, with Rhona leading Pete (Anthony Quinlan) upstairs to continue their fun in the bedroom.

While Rhona is enjoying herself with Pete, her best friend Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) decides that it's time for a quiet word with Paddy.

Vanessa tells Paddy (Dominic Brunt) that Rhona is still in love with him and begs him to let Rhona move on with her life now.

Although Paddy agrees, he can't believe his eyes when he spots Rhona leaving Pete's place the following morning, wearing the same clothes from the night before.

Rhona finds herself forced to defend herself to Paddy, who's clearly jealous to see her finding a new man. Could Paddy's disapproving attitude land him in trouble with Rhona and his current girlfriend Chas Dingle too?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Monday, January 29 and Tuesday, January 30 at 7pm on ITV.
