Yahoo News Emmerdale reveals Frank Clayton's fate tonight
Megan Macey's revenge storyline comes to a head in a dramatic Emmerdale double bill tonight (August 24).
Megan (Gaynor Faye) and her frenemy Charity Dingle have hatched a cunning plan to frame Frank Clayton for fraud, wanting to make him pay for messing them both around.
Last night's episode saw the bickering pair put the final plans in place for their payback, knowing that today would be the day to get Frank (Michael Praed) sent down.
In tonight's Emmerdale double bill, there's another twist at the 11th hour when Lydia Hart accidentally lets slip to Megan about Frank's romantic plans for a surprise beach wedding.
Lydia accidentally drops the bombshell as she wrongly assumes that Megan already knows about it – and her loose tongue could have a much bigger impact than anyone expects.
As Lydia sheepishly reports back to Frank about her big mistake, Megan starts to panic as she's plagued with last-minute fears about how this planned wedding could affect her revenge.
Once again realising that Frank truly seems to care about her, will Megan really go through with getting him sent back to prison? Can Charity talk her round again, or have their schemes gone pear-shaped?
Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.
