Yahoo News Emmerdale to revisit Adam and Victoria adoption story
Emmerdale will revisit Adam and Victoria Barton's adoption storyline next week as the pair reconsider starting a family.
The young couple recently reunited after months apart – a split which was initially sparked by the news that they wouldn't be able to conceive a baby naturally.
Happily back together with Victoria, Adam wants to solidify their reunion by reconsidering their options in regards to having a child together – aware of just how much his wife wants a baby.
After Adam tells Victoria that he wants to look into adoption again, the pair are excited as they prepare to put their plan into action but are left unsettled by Moira's doubts when they tell her their happy news.
However, it looks like Moira may have been right to have concerns as Victoria goes about doing her research into adoption case studies.
Realising it could be a lot harder than they initially thought, Victoria starts to despair – but will she and Adam decide to follow through with their baby plans regardless?
Given that we know Adam Thomas – who plays Adam – is due to bow out of the show shortly, sadly it doesn't look like there is a happy ending in sight...
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
