Emmerdale Ross Barton star teases reunion with former flame and says 'there'll be trouble'
Emmerdale’s Ross Barton could be set to rekindle things with a former flame, actor Michael Parr has hinted.
Actor Michael first joined the hit ITV soap back in 2013 as bad boy Ross Barton. However, in 2018, Ross left the village with Rebecca White (Emily Head) and her son Sebastian White to start a new life in Liverpool.
Ross has often been mentioned off-screen due to his son Moses with Charity (Emma Atkins). But this week, Ross made his epic comeback to the soap this week after a six-year hiatus, as part of the illegal fighting storyline, involving Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle).
In an unexpected twist during an unlicensed boxing match in the episode aired on 28 October, Ross was unveiled as Billy Fletcher's opponent.

And on Tuesday (October 29) actor Michael appeared on Lorraine to talk about his return - and hinted that he could be set for a romantic reunion with Charity. When asked if Ross has returned for Charity, Michael said: “Well, there’s certainly going to be drama there as they’ve got a lot of history.
“But she’s not the main reason he’s come back, it’s Moses that he wants to be in his life. But when you put Ross and Charity together, there’s always going to be trouble,” he added.
Michael also previously teased what fans can expect regarding Ross' mysterious past few years: "All will be revealed the week after, you'll find out where he's been, who he's still in touch with, and what's been going on in his life. But I don't want to give anything away just yet."
Earlier this year, Michael expressed his excitement about reprising his role: "I'm over the moon to be returning to Emmerdale. Ross is a character I'm extremely fond of and I'm excited to explore what he's been up to over the past five years. After seeing the scripts, I can't wait for the audience to see what's in store. One thing I can say is Ross' return will no doubt create fireworks."
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
