Yahoo News Emmerdale shock as Harriet Finch is tempted by Cain
Emmerdale is lining up a big twist for vicar Harriet Finch as she is tempted over to the dark side after learning of Cain Dingle's dodgy scam.
Upcoming scenes will see Harriet catch Cain breaking the law when she spots him hiding a bag of stolen phones in the church.
But although Harriet reads Cain the riot act – and even threatens to turn him into the police – she has a big change of heart next week which she could end up living to regret.
Despite her insistence that Cain will pay for his crimes, Harriet will start to soften towards him when she witnesses him comforting his struggling daughter Debbie.
Realising just how much pressure Cain is really under, Harriet decides to get to him before the police do – but when she finds him with another bag of stolen phones, she is furious that he has learned nothing from their earlier argument.
However, after an angry Harriet confronts him over his illegal activities yet again, Cain decides to take a different approach with her this time and makes her an offer she can't refuse.
Wanting to keep her on side, Cain offers Harriet a cut of the money if she keeps quiet, but how will she respond? Will Harriet be tempted over to the dark side?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
