Emmerdale star Ash Palmisciano teases Christmas episodes
Emmerdale star Ash Palmisciano has teased upcoming Christmas episodes, hinting that several "big names" will have a very busy festive season.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy at the Inside Soap Awards, Palmisciano revealed that the cast had just begun filming for December, with fan favourites set to take centre stage in the soap's Christmas storylines.
"We're just starting the December episodes, we're filming them today," the actor, who plays Matty Barton, said.
"I think what's really cool is it involves, this year, a lot of the cast at Christmas."

While he didn't give away much from the upcoming storyline, he promised fans it would involve several major characters, adding: "I don't want to sound boring, I don't want to give it away and spoil it for everyone! But there's going to be a lot going on with some major characters.
"The favourites that our fans love are going to be very busy at Christmas."
Palmisciano has also teased plenty of drama in Emmerdale's Super Soap Week special episodes, involving Mackenzie Boyd, Chloe Harris and Charity Dingle.
"Obviously, there's a big crash in the village, which Matty and his girlfriend Amy are involved quite closely with because it involves her sister," he said.
