Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly supported by fans after quit announcement
An Emmerdale star has been supported by fans following her decision to quit social media.
Beth Cordingly, 47, who plays Ruby Fox-Miligan in Emmerdale, has announced she will be taking a break from social media. Beth made her Emmerdale debut at the start of 2024, with Ruby being introduced as Caleb Miligan’s mystery partner.
The acting star didn’t give a reason why she has decided to take a step back from social media. In the video post on Instagram, she said: “Hi guys, we (Beth and the cat) are having a few weeks away from social media, aren’t we?

Beth’s character has recently been involved in some major Emmerdale storylines. Viewers saw Ruby’s life at risk in the barn fire and then Ruby’s estranged mother has recently died in the ITV soap.

Away from her current role in Emmerdale, Beth is likely known to many for her role in The Bill. She played PC Kerry Young in the iconic drama series.
Following her social media announcement, Beth has been supported by fans with many posts under her video.
