Yahoo News Emmerdale star confirms more twists in Emma murder plot
Emmerdale star Natalie J Robb has teased more twists and turns in Emma Barton's murder storyline.
Last night's episodes saw Natalie's character Moira Dingle revealed as the person responsible for Emma's deadly fall from the viaduct back in October.
A flashback revealed that Moira had pushed Emma after she cruelly taunted her over the tragic death of her daughter Holly. Emma was deliberately trying to push Moira into killing her, because her strict religious beliefs stopped her from taking her own life.
Speaking about what's next for Moira now the truth is out, Natalie confirmed that there is lots more drama still to come as the story unfolds.
"There's a lot more twists and turns to come yet," she said on This Morning today (December 15).
Teasing what all this will mean for Moira's future with ex-husband Cain, Natalie added: "I think Cain has always loved her.
"He couldn't love someone like he loves Moira because she grounds him and brings him out of himself. But he is still with Harriet, so as far as Moira is concerned... that's happening."
The good news for fans is that Natalie has already confirmed that the big twist doesn't mean it's the end for Moira, revealing she's just signed a new contract.
She said: "I have just signed for another year, so you have another year of me yet! Robert Sugden has murdered, but he is still here.
"I was quite grateful to be involved with it, to be honest. When they described it to me, it hadn't been written at that point. I enjoyed all the twists and turns and curveballs. It was nice to be part of that."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
