Yahoo News Emmerdale star hints at who could support Victoria
Emmerdale star Isabel Hodgins has called for Victoria Barton to strike up a friendship with Rhona Goskirk after her recent ordeal.
Victoria returns to the village next week and confides in more of her loved ones about evil Lee Posner raping her after a night out last month.
Some viewers have already been wondering whether Victoria could turn to Rhona (Zoe Henry) for support, as the village vet was raped by her husband Pierce in 2017.
Asked whether the two characters will share scenes, Isabel replied: "Not as of yet. I don't know if that's going to happen, because only a small amount of people in the village know and she's not one of those people.
"But I love Zoe, so further down the line, it would be nice to do some scenes with her."
On the possibility of Victoria's ex Adam Barton coming back to support her too, Isabel joked: "That's the dream. Everything I do is so that Adam will come back. If he came in and saved the day, that would be cracking!"
Next week's episodes see pregnant Victoria return from her break and make it clear to her family that she plans to keep her baby.
This causes tensions with Robert, who finds it difficult to come to terms with her decision.
Victoria also confides in Marlon, Matty, Chas, Ellis and Charity, leading to more emotional scenes as they all struggle to take in the news.
Emmerdale airs Victoria's return on Monday (June 3) at 7pm on ITV.
