Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter suffers painful injury on set
Emmerdale's Lucy Pargeter has shared a painful injury she sustained on the set with her Instagram followers.
The actor, who stars as Chas Dingle in the ITV soap, posted pictures of her scraped and bruised leg on her page while explaining how she had got the marks.
"Taken out by a woolpack bench today!!!!" she wrote. "Don’t worry, it will all be seen on some bloopers show… although I’m not sure they have enough 'bleeps' to cover my potty mouth."
She posted a second picture of her scraped leg as the bruising had worsened, updating fans: "Knee update!!!! I’ll live."

Fans took to the comments to wish her well, with some joking that her "potty mouth" matches her character and others musing she should stay away from stunt work.
Lucy joined Emmerdale in 2002 and has been involved in many major storylines, including her ongoing breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Earlier this year, Chas was diagnosed with the same type of cancer that her mother Faith died from, choosing to have a double mastectomy to prevent a further recurrence.
The soap recently revisited the storyline and gave an update on Chas' condition, with her telling Gail Loman and Ryan Stocks that she had a routine hospital appointment and that doctors had been pushing her to have chemotherapy as a precaution.

Discussing the storyline, which Emmerdale worked on alongside the charity Breast Cancer Now, Lucy said: "When the producers first discussed this storyline with me I knew I didn't want us to shy away from any aspect of this diagnosis for Chas.
"She saw her own mother ultimately die after an incurable breast cancer diagnosis, so for Chas to receive a breast cancer diagnosis herself, makes it all the more poignant.
"Our audience knows her so well. They have seen her relationships, know her faults, her passions, her insecurities, quirks and fears."
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
