Emmerdale stars tease new surprises in Tom and Belle story
Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale stars James Chase and Eden Taylor-Draper have teased a new "dark" and "different" storyline for their characters Tom King and Belle Dingle.
Earlier this week, Tom demanded a secret one-on-one meeting with Belle in the hospital, where he warned her not report him to the police for domestic violence or he'd tell them she attacked him with an axe.
In reality, Belle was defending herself after being locked into Wishing Well Cottage with Tom, who was hunting her around the property with the axe.

Although Belle told Tom she'd keep quiet, she made the brave decision to go to the police and explain that she'd been the one who attacked Tom in self defence, and that she was a victim of domestic violence.
However, it sounds like Belle and Tom's storyline is far from over, as Taylor-Draper has confirmed they will soon begin filming new scenes.
"We’re about to go back and start shooting a really cool block where a lot happens," she told The Mirror.
"It’s going to be exciting - it’s quite different. We’ve not done this before and I’d say just keep watching."

Chase also weighed in, adding: "I think it is different and what is going to be airing very soon, it evolves and the storyline that we’ve been doing and the tone of it... It's still dark, but it changes in a way where I think Belle regains more of that power and it sort of becomes more of a tug of war, instead of just Tom’s constant iron fists being brought down."
Hinting at justice for Belle in the end, Taylor-Draper said: "I think in a situation like this, it’s important to show the viewers how justice can be served and that’s the message I’d love to get across.
"I think that our entire team feels the same that these situations can be helped."
The pair also suggested that the storyline could run right up until Christmas, before summing up the next few months for Tom and Belle as "outrageous" and "interesting".
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
