Yahoo News Emmerdale suspicion as Liam's backstory is explored
Emmerdale delves back into Liam Cavanagh's past next week, as his partner Bernice Blackstock fears that he's keeping secrets.
Liam (Jonny McPherson) finds himself under close scrutiny when Bernice and her sister Nicola King both become fixated on the idea that he has something to hide.
Emmerdale fans know that Liam's first wife died of an anaphylactic shock a few years ago.
When this tragic topic is brought up next week, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is suspicious and warns Bernice (Samantha Giles) that Liam's shifty behaviour suggests he is hiding something.
Bernice is given food for thought after Nicola's interjection and it's not long before she's getting carried away with the idea too.
Could a rift develop between Bernice and her partner if it turns out that she's on the wrong track?
The backstory of the Cavanagh family was first explored at the start of this year, when Bernice suffered an anaphylactic shock due to some dodgy Botox and was rushed into intensive care.
The incident brought back bad memories for Liam's daughter Leanna, who still struggles after losing her mum at a young age.
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, June 6 at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.
