Emmerdale teases Adam Barton return as Moira Dingle makes big decision
Cain Dingle is met with the prospect of Moira's death in forthcoming episodes when she announces plans to leave the village and visit Adam Barton.
As Emmerdale fans will know, Moira is fighting a brain tumour and missed her operation following the news of Zak Dingle's (Steve Halliwell) death. The farmer is suffering from debilitating symptoms including seizures, confusion, and memory loss that she originally wanted to manage with medication before agreeing to the dangerous procedure.
Confronting his deepest fear of losing his wife, Cain (Jeff Hordley) is left surprised when Moira and Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) tell them about their plans to visit her son Adam (Adam Thomas). Struggling with the idea of Moira not being around, he is comforted by his wife.

The couple is painfully aware that what should be a temporary goodbye could one day be a more permanent farewell. But will Moira return to the village with her son Adam amid her health crisis?
Adam Thomas played Moira's son Adam in the soap for nine years before exiting in 2018.
In his final storyline, Adam tried to cover for his mum by confessing to the murder of Emma Barton (Gillian Kearney). He later escaped on the day of his sentencing, leaving his life behind to go on the run.
In an exclusive interview with Metro.co.uk, Thomas admitted he was unsure what happened to his character after departing six years ago.
"I can't remember where he went to. I think he went to France? He was on the run," he tried to recall.
He added: "It was such a big part of my life and being able to work with some of my close friends who I'm still in touch with today, that was such a fun job."
Is Moira paving the way for her son Adam to return to the village? Emmerdale fans will have to wait to find out.
