Emmerdale has teased a return for fan favourite Ross Barton.
The ITV soap posted an on-set video on Tuesday afternoon (September 17) showing Michael Parr back on set after six years away.
The clip on Emmerdale's socials sees Bradley Johnson – who plays Vinny Dingle – announce that a past character is returning to the village.
He then starts searching around the set for clues on who this mystery individual could be.

Bradley explained: "A little birdie has told me that somebody is coming back to Emmerdale and they're in the building today – but no-one's telling me who it is.
"So I think I want to make it my mission to go and find them and give them a massive Emmerdale welcome."
The comedy video sees Bradley touring the set, missing several occasions to spot Michael in the background.
The name "Ross" can also be spotted on a clothing rail in the costume department.

Emmerdale's video immediately went down a storm with fans, who expressed their excitement over seeing Ross back in the show.
One posted: "Ross Barton! Brilliant! I did not see this coming. I'm excited now – I loved Ross especially his acid attack storyline, affair with Debbie, his comedy. Everything. Hope he's here to stay."
Another added: "Welcome back Ross."
Michael left Emmerdale in 2018, as Ross decided to leave the village to rebuild his life following his acid attack storyline.
Asked at the time whether he could come back, Michael replied: "Absolutely. I've had the best five years here. The opportunities that this job has given me to see the world, and help friends and family, have been amazing.
"I'm going to take the plunge and become a desperate dole-y actor again but hopefully I can come back and do a little bit more.
"If I get killed off-screen, you'll know I've annoyed somebody somewhere!"
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
