Emmerdale Tom King fate 'revealed' after arrest - but he 'doesn't get sent to prison'
Emmerdale villain Tom King has finally been arrested - but fans are convinced he is not getting sent to prison.
The soap baddie, played by James Chase, has caused plenty of drama in the last year. Fans will recall how he abused his wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) for months.
Belle ended things and revealed the truth to her family, as well as the police. However, Tom has gone out of his way to make sure he has covered his tracks - including getting rid of a tablet that contained footage that would prove he was guilty.
Fortunately, the tablet was discovered - but due to it being badly damaged, it has taken the police tech tech team a while to get into it. In the meantime, Belle’s mental health has spiralled, and she recently checked herself into a mental health unit.

This week though, Belle returned to the village, devastated that Tom is still able to roam free. However, during Wednesday’s episode (November 27) things took a dramatic turn.
DS Foy (Robert Cavanah) arrived in the village and asked Tom to accompany him to the station, before revealing the photographic evidence recovered from his tablet. The pictures showed Belle using the bathroom and asleep.
A startled Tom tried to spin more lies, claiming he could explain everything. But FS Foy wasn’t having it, and later on he visited Belle and and told her Tom had been charged, and wouldn't be pursuing the case against her.
However, while fans are over the moon that Tom has been charged other viewers are convinced that this is not the end. Sharing their thoughts online, people reckon he will not end up getting sent to prison as he could make a run for it and flee.
On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person said: “Tom King is charged.” But in the comments section, others said they think he could manage to get away with his crimes.
Someone else wrote: “I think he will escape and run away.” A third chimed in: “Yep probably!” A fourth fan pointed out how a trailer for this week showed Belle and Tom having a showdown - something that has yet to be aired. The viewer penned: “I agree because in the trailer they’ve shown it shows him pinning Belle up a car? And that has happened yet?”
Other fans shared their anger over the idea of Tom getting away with his crimes. A fan penned: “I will be so angry if they decide to do this, kill him or let him rot in prison!” Someone else replied: “Same!”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
