‘Emmerdale’ tonight: Lives hang in the balance as soap storylines reach crescendo
There’s another tense hour-long instalment of Emmerdale ahead, with several storylines set to collide as the ITV soap — which airs tonight at 7.30pm — continues its big 'Flashforward' week.
We've already seen Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) brandishing the shotgun at Home Farm as she kept watch, convinced that Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) is back. After hearing someone in the woods, she pulled the trigger and took off running when she saw a lifeless body.
Meanwhile Noah Dingle's (Jack Downham) stalking of Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) has been exposed, and he found himself confronted by Al Chapman (Michael Wildman). But Noah’s relative Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was on hand to square up to nemesis Al once again.
Elsewhere, Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) was in a panicked state as she was released from police custody after causing damage to Dan Spencer’s (Liam Fox) cottage.
Faith was desperate to get somewhere, and eventually confided in her daughter-in-law Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) that she has cancer for the second time.

As we return to the Dales, fans will be waiting for the answers to several questions. Firstly, who did Gabby shoot?
Could it be Jamie? We know he’s still alive, but currently only Gabby and Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) are aware of this fact. Is he back to take baby Thomas away, just as Gabby fears?
What if Gabby has actually aimed fire at an innocent victim — could she have made a fatal mistake?

Now onto Noah. Will he pay for his actions? His mum Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) was left horrified by what he’s been up to, and has been left torn as she tries to protect him while also giving him a reality check about his despicable behaviour.
Will Noah be arrested for his crime, or will someone else take matters into their own hands? He certainly looked like he was in some kind of peril during the most recent flashforward, which appeared to show him trapped in the open grave teased earlier by Emmerdale.
There is also the car wreckage we've so far only caught a brief glimpse of. The feud between Al and Cain is about to turn dangerous and a bloodied Cain will be slumped over the wheel in the aftermath. Will he survive?

And what about poor Faith? We’ve yet to hear the full details of her condition - will she be able to get treatment for her cancer? We know she has beaten the disease once before. Will her family rally round?
Prepare for powerful scenes from stars Dexter and Robb as Faith is supported by Moira.
Tune in to Emmerdale tonight at 7.30pm to find out how the villagers fare in this dramatic week.
