Emmerdale's Cain and Ruby secret comes under threat already
Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale has aired the aftermath of Cain Dingle's betrayal of Moira in the latest episode.
A new, devastating storyline has been focusing on Cain cheating on Moira while she underwent surgery to remove her brain tumour. Struggling to cope with the thought of losing his wife, Cain got drunk and had an ill-advised encounter with his brother Caleb's wife, Ruby Fox-Miligan.
In tonight's (November 21) scenes, Cain was grappling with guilt as he sat by Moira's bedside in hospital.

When Charity urged Cain to vent to her, he admitted having done "something very stupid".
"I still can't believe I've done it," he said, though he changed his mind about opening up to his cousin and told her he had beaten up Jimmy King instead.
During Moira's surgery, Jimmy confronted Cain over Belle's accusations against Tom. Frustrated about having slept with Ruby and mad at Jimmy for implying Belle could be lying, Cain attacked him and left him with a black eye.
A shocked Charity told Cain off for being violent towards Jimmy, but he urged her not to "mess up with Mackenzie" and hurried out.
Whilst at the hospital, Cain was brought in for questioning over Jimmy's attack, but refused to comment on the incident. He was let go as he couldn't be charged, but the officer assured him there'd be an investigation.

Later on, Moira's doctor urged Cain to take care of his wife during her recovery, insisting on how crucial it'd be for her to be in a supportive environment.
"I should have never left this room," he then told Moira as he teared up.
On his way out, Cain bumped into Caleb, who confided in him that he'd found a box of emergency contraception in the bin. The morning after pill did belong to Ruby, though Caleb was convinced it was their daughter's, Steph, who had just moved back home with them.
Despite being relieved that Caleb wasn't suspecting him and Ruby, Cain knew it was just a matter of time before they would be exposed. He grew frustrated with Ruby for being careless and threatened her not to play games with him.
"What happened should never have happened," he said, with her agreeing: "I still can't believe what we did. I feel sick every time I think about it."
Equally frustrated with Cain, Ruby reminded him that she may have cheated on her husband, but he did much worse betraying Moira while she was in surgery.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
