Emmerdale's Caleb Miligan deceives Jai Sharma in money row

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Caleb Miligan will trick Jai Sharma in a new money row next week, as Caleb continues to deceive his supposed new ally.

Caleb and Jai appeared to strike up a friendship over the summer, after Caleb decided to give Jai some underhand advice about how to hide his true wealth from his estranged wife Laurel in their divorce talks.

They later got involved in a business deal together, although it has been hinted to viewers that Caleb may still be hiding something from Jai after he convinced Jai to hand over large sums of cash to him.

In scenes that will air next week, Caleb upsets Jai when he offers Kerry Wyatt a job without consulting Jai.

The move leaves Jai humiliated, especially as he had previously refused to hire Kerry.

Feeling fed up with his arrangement with Caleb, Jai demands that Caleb give him back the money that he hid for Jai in an offshore account.

Caleb plays along with Jai's request and makes a phone call in front of him about the money, but he claims that he can't get the money back right now.

What will Jai's next move be?

Jai has been showing his villainous side again this year, after he decided to force his father Amit out of the village back in the spring.

Chris Bisson, who plays Jai, revealed at the time that Jai's discoveries about Amit had "brought out the dark side in him".

"[This] has changed something inside him and going forward the way he views life and people and relationships may well be affected. Certainly, the way he treats business will probably be affected, too," he said.

"I think he is going to become a bit more ruthless. He feels he has been taken for a bit of a fool, and he feels like that is never going to happen again. So yes maybe Bad Jai is back!"

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
