Emmerdale's Charles Anderson makes sneaky plan to get rid of Alex

Charles Anderson is set to make a sneaky plan to get rid of Alex Moore on Emmerdale.

Charles has been left concerned recently after daughter Naomi started dating the villainous character upon his return to the village, with scenes this week seeing him trying to intervene in the relationship.

He attempts some reverse psychology, though after remembering some words of advice from Manpreet before, Charles realises his hostility is actually pushing the couple closer together.

In follow on scenes, Charles fails in his attempt to convince Naomi that she cannot trust Alex, and later expresses his frustration to Manpreet over seeing his daughter risk her future with Alex.

Manpreet admits to Charles that he needs to give Naomi's boyfriend a chance, and only judge him if he ends up letting her down.

However, he spots a chance to get rid of Alex and encourages him to go for a job interview. Naomi is delighted when Alex gets the job, though her happiness is short-lived when she learns that the role is actually in Wales.

Alex feels he has no choice but to take the job, especially as an ex-offender, though gets second thoughts about accepting it.

Charles manages to talk Alex round, and after the latter has gone, Charles puts his foot in it with Naomi.

How will she react, and is Alex gone for good?

In other Emmerdale news, Suzy Merton is set to be rushed to hospital next week after being brutally attacked by drug dealer Callum.
