Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Chas Dingle has made a big mistake over Faith's cancer in Emmerdale.
After learning of Faith's breast cancer diagnosis last week, Chas has been pressuring her mum to continue treatment.
The Dingles were still digesting the news in Wednesday's (June 22) episode, as Cain and Moira decided it was time to tell Kyle the truth.
Over at Chas and Paddy's, there was still some dissension over whether Faith should continue treatment. Chas continued to pile on the pressure, insisting the chemo would buy her time until there's a cure.
Paddy was baffled by Chas's logic, then she undercut Cain and Moira's frank chat with Kyle by telling the boy "there's every chance" Faith could be around for "a very long time".
"We're not going to give up on her," an emphatic Chas insisted.
Cain and Moira were upset that Chas had misled Kyle, but they didn't have a chance to have it out because Chas made a quick exit.
Back at home, Chas angrily accused the rest of the family of trying to talk Faith "into an early grave", then took out her frustration by meeting up with Al for another rendezvous.
In a touching final scene, Faith and Sarah bonded over their health problems, with the teen admitting she was afraid of losing her nan.
"The fact that I'm going before you, that's the one thing that's an upside for me," Faith admitted.
With tears in her eyes, Sarah told her nan: "I'm going to miss you so much. You're like my best friend."
When Sarah asked whether extensive treatment is what Faith truly wants, her grandmother tried to put on a brave face.
"What is it, you girls say? I'm leaning in like a boss," Faith told Sarah.
Faith smiled to her granddaughter, but the fear and uncertainty returned as soon as she looked away. Will Faith open up to her family about how she really feels?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
