Yahoo News Emmerdale's Jimmy reaches out to Laurel after Archie abuse claims
Emmerdale's Jimmy King extends an olive branch to Laurel Thomas next week in the wake of the recent child abuse allegations.
Jimmy currently stands accused of hurting Jai Sharma's young son Archie, after he was left with unexplained bruises. The finger has wrongly been pointed in his direction thanks to false accusations from the true culprit – Laurel's son Arthur.
New spoilers have now revealed that the story continues next week, with Jimmy looking for a way to put the animosity behind them.
When Laurel's childminder cancels on her, she's left in a dilemma over what to do.

Jimmy kindly offers to step in and look after Archie – happy to put the accusations behind him, as long as Laurel and Jai are. Will Laurel say yes?
Whatever happens, the storyline won't be over just yet as Nick Miles – who plays Jimmy – previously revealed that the trouble will run for a few weeks.
Nick said: "This is a story that isn't going to end quickly or easily. It's going to rumble on all the way to Christmas.

"Jimmy's a survivor and I hope he'll cope, but I don't know because I haven't seen the end of the story yet!
"It's going to be a tough road for him, because he loves kids. To have the villagers talking about him and whispering behind his back, he's going to struggle. He's devoted towards his own children and, in his head, he couldn't be accused of anything worse."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
