Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Leyla Cavanagh wrecks her friendship with Suzy Merton next week by threatening her over drugs.

Leyla has become increasingly dependent on cocaine in recent months. This has created tensions with Suzy, who also previously took coke but decided to get clean.

In next week's episodes, Leyla is tracked down by Jai Sharma's old dealer Jason, who's played by former Hollyoaks actor Parry Glasspool.

Jason offers Leyla a deal on more cocaine and she agrees, but her secret transaction doesn't go unnoticed by Suzy.

Suzy rebukes Leyla for her continued drug use, but Leyla refuses to make any apologies and seems triumphant that she's getting away with it.

When Suzy later sees Jason hanging around again, she orders him to leave Take A Vow and not come back.

Leyla is left agitated by this, wondering how she'll cope now that she has been cut off from a source of cocaine again.

Leyla confronts Suzy for interfering, then turns nasty by reminding her friend that she knows all about her involvement in Holly Barton's death.

Suzy refuses to give Leyla the contact details for her own former dealer, so Leyla threatens to tell Moira everything.

A shaken Suzy reluctantly hands over her dealer's number to Leyla, but she also warns that their friendship is over.

Will Leyla live to regret treating Suzy like this?

Martelle Edinborough, who plays Suzy, recently spoke about the possibility of Moira finding out the truth in the future.

She said: "I'm really looking forward to all of that. I love working with Natalie [J Robb, who plays Moira] so I'm quite excited to do those scenes because they are going to be quite tense, probably lots of shouting from Natalie to me so I'm quite excited for all of that to come.

"Moira's not a character you'd want to go up against, but I think Suzy would hold her own a little bit to a certain extent, or she’ll try! But obviously she is riddled with guilt as well. I don't know how it will pan out, but I think it will be really good."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
