Yahoo News Emmerdale's Mackenzie Boyd rejects Chloe Harris over romance hopes

Mackenzie Boyd has rejected romantic advances from Chloe Harris in Emmerdale.
In Friday's (June 2) episode, Amy was desperate to convince Chloe that she didn't need a romantic relationship with Mack to ensure baby Reuben has a "proper family".
"I know he treated me awfully and I should hate him for it, but I don't," Chloe admitted.
Amy and Matty were unnerved as Chloe confessed: "I've tried to deny my feelings about him but the truth is I really, really like him."

Meanwhile, Mack was hung up on trying to win back Charity as he had lunch with the family, but was shot down when he offered to help organise Moses's birthday.
"This isn't going to work," Charity told him, adding: "I'm not letting you worm your way in using him as an excuse."
Charity then vowed: "We're over, okay? I don't know how many times I have to say it. In case you don't think I mean it, let me say one more thing: I want a divorce."
Even though Mack insisted he could make things up to Charity, she admitted she'd never be able to get over her husband lying to her for months.
Later, Mack confided in Chloe that he's devastated that Charity won't take him back. When Chloe mentioned baby Reuben, Mack referred to the child as his "one ray of hope".
"You've got me," Chloe added.

Mack tried to let Chloe down gently by insisting that while he's "flattered" by her interest, he's still consumed with his marriage crumbling.
"I can't start something with someone else," Mack claimed. "That's not to say I'm not going to help. We're parents, we're in this together. I'm not going to let you down."
As Mack cradled baby Reuben, Chloe stared at him lovingly — unable to put her growing romantic feelings aside.
