Emmerdale's Mackenzie to face devastating decision in crash episodes

Emmerdale's Mackenzie Boyd faces the ultimate life-or-death decision next week as he, Chloe Harris and Charity Dingle are all involved in a shocking car crash.

The trio's ongoing love triangle comes to a head in Super Soap Week – the annual October episodes featuring stunts, twists and shock moments.

As next week's episodes begin, Chloe is in shock after overhearing an incriminating conversation between Mack and Charity.

Mack and Charity secretly slept together a few weeks ago and Chloe is devastated when she learns the truth.

Chloe ends up seeking some advice from Tracy Robinson, questioning her on how she managed to forgive Nate's infidelity. After having this conversation, Chloe is optimistic that she can give Mack another chance.

Chloe's positive outlook doesn't last for long, as she's heartbroken to spot Mack sharing a hug with Charity and kissing her on the forehead.

Mack and Charity are actually saying a tender goodbye to each other after deciding that their relationship is over, but Chloe misinterprets the moment and gets suspicious again.

Chloe privately vows to seek revenge and she gets her moment when she and Mack later find Charity broken down on the side of the road.

Chloe steps in and offers Charity a lift, but her plan is to abandon Charity and Mack in the middle of nowhere together.

The scheme backfires horribly when a car smashes into Chloe, Mack and Charity on the road, causing carnage.

Mack is first to regain consciousness and he's alarmed to spot that the vehicle has been left suspended on the edge of a cliff. He manages to escape, but watches on nervously as the car creeks and shifts.

As Charity and Chloe gradually wake up too, Mack calls 999 for help and then focuses his efforts on guiding both women safely out of the car.

Disaster strikes once again when Chloe accidentally knocks the wheel and the car starts to slip away.

With Charity and Chloe both desperate to be saved, they frantically reach out to Mack – but who will he help first? And will the person left behind end up plunging to her death?
