Back at home, Moira arrived at Amy's to accompany her to court. But the pair received some bad news as the police called Amy to tell her they were dropping the robbery investigation due to lack of evidence.

Later in the Woolpack, Cain was informed that Matty was being kept on remand and immediately confronted Samson who was with Lydia and Sam, leading to a massive argument.

Meanwhile, Amy and Moira watched tearfully from outside the court as Matty was taken away.
