Emmerdale's Noah concerns Charity with attitude in stalker plot

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Noah Dingle will leave his mum Charity concerned next week as he appears to show a serious lack of remorse for stalking Chloe Harris.

Noah's creepy behaviour toward his former girlfriend Chloe (Jessie Elland), which included breaking into her bedroom, stealing her personal items and taking secret photos of her, was finally discovered last week when Chloe found evidence of his stalking on his laptop.

Charity (Emma Atkins) was appalled to find out what Noah (Jack Downham) had been up to and made the decision to report him to the police for his crimes, which saw Noah being arrested.

Next week, Noah awaits his court hearing and is informed of his defence plea by his solicitor. Although Noah holds his counsel, he continues to simmer with resentment.

Later on, Noah announces to Charity that he doesn't want to plead guilty to the charges he is faced with and Charity is incredulous at his attitude.

As Noah passes Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) in the village, Amy glowers at Noah and the two exchange some words.

Back home, Noah feels rattled by his run-in with Amy and he admits to Charity that he wants to do a runner from the village ahead of appearing in court. Charity refuses to go along with Noah's shock plan and he marches out, leaving Charity concerned about what he might do.

Sarah Dingle (Katie Hill) later comes across Noah sitting alone and she does her best to get him to see sense and attend his court hearing.

Although Noah does take her words on board, he remains unsure as to whether he is going to plead guilty at court or not, leaving Charity feeling very anxious about what might happen.

As the court hearing gets underway, the legal advisor reads out the charges against Noah and asks him what he pleads.

What will Noah do next?

Charity has faced a big backlash from her family after reporting Noah to the police, due to the Dingle policy of handling problems amongst themselves, and Noah even cruelly called his mum a "two-faced cow" and told her that he wished she were dead.

Emmerdale airs these scenes in the week commencing May 23 on ITV. The show also streams on the ITV Hub.
