Emmerdale's Will Taylor will 'do anything' as it's revealed that Kim Tate will be kidnapped in upcoming scenes. As viewers of the ITV soap know, Will cheated on his wife with his former flame Rose.

The character, played by Dean Andrews, has already been disowned by daughter Dawn for forcing Rose out of the village with Kim's help. But he is also being blackmailed to the sum of £50,000, which he's being told he'll have to pay if he doesn't want what really happened between him and Rose to be made public.

Next week in Emmerdale, Will will be sent sinister messages before an apparent kidnapping leaves him fearing the worst. Viewers will see Caleb surprised when Will asks for a loan in return for his shares in the haulage business. Having secured Caleb’s loan, things will be seen to take a terrible turn when Kim appears to have been kidnapped.

Will is then summoned by the blackmailer to meet him in a woodland and what happens next remains to be seen. Teasing what's to come, Dean said: "He’s getting notes and directions from a voice in the woods, but he can’t fathom out where this voice is coming from or why.

"He’s just gone into a random woods, he’s hearing all kinds of voices. He gets really panicky. He’s got the money, in his bag, he’s got the fifty grand, he doesn’t know what’s going to happen when he finds... he just keeps shouting to somebody saying, 'I’ve got the money, just come out, stop messing about, stop all this stupidity just come and get the money and leave me alone.'"

He went on to reveal: "He’s basically directed to go into the woods, he’s following signs, we won’t go beyond that point but it’s pretty frightening for him. He can hear voices in the distance and is following them... I love that kind of physicality stuff. The fights and the running, the scared and the panicky. They’re always good to play."

And it's after that he realises Kim is missing. Dean told the Manchester Evening News and other press about Will's frame of mind in that moment: "He’s quite worried when he gets home and he realises Kim’s now missing too. She said she was going to cook lunch and he gets back and it’s absolutely burnt to a crisp, which he can’t understand but then kind of thinks, well maybe somebody’s come and grabbed her or you know, something along those lines. It’s very unusual for her to disappear for no reason especially when she knows Will’s hungry!

"Then he gets a call and Kim’s essentially been kidnapped. Kim’s kidnapped, the horse has been taken, somebody wants fifty grand, he’s up the creek. And he doesn’t really know what to do. He gets very panicky about it all. He’s basically at the end of his tether and will do anything to make this problem go away."

Sharing just how desperate Will is with his wife’s life potentially in danger, Dean explained: “He’s basically at the end of his tether and will do anything to make this problem go away.”

But he's hopeful long-term that Will and Kim will remain together - if she's found safe and well. Dean told us: "He loves Kim. They have a great relationship... They are actually the antithesis of each other - it kinda works.

"So, he doesn’t want to lose all that. He’s got his daughter in the village and Kim has been great with the grandkids. He’s desperate to keep his status at Home Farm."
