In case you missed it, yesterday was the second birthday party of Tom and Giovanna Fletcher’s son, Buzz, and it looks like they had a pretty amazing day.

From Mickey Mouse balloons to exciting new presents to a special birthday card from his newborn baby brother, Buddy, Buzz looked as though he enjoyed every second of the day in the photos posted to his parents’ Instagram accounts.

However, it understandably all got a bit too much for McFly star Tom, with Giovanna sharing a snapshot of her husband breaking down and getting emotional whilst reading his son’s birthday cards out loud.

N'aww, bless him.

Covering his face with his hands, Tom is clearly trying to hold back tears in the pic, with Buzz hilariously missing the emotional significance of the moment as he copies his dad’s actions with a huge grin on his face.

Giovanna captioned the photo with: “When your husband gets emotional reading your son’s birthday card out loud and your two year old mocks him..”

Yesterday morning Tom paid tribute to his eldest son with a loving message, writing alongside a selfie with him: “Tried to take a nice birthday photo but he wants to play. This little man has changed my life in so many ways.

"Makes me laugh and smile every day. Can’t believe he’s 2! Happy birthday son.”

Giovanna added: “Happy 2nd birthday to my little love Buzz. Our world has become a much brighter place since you came along. You fill our days with laughter and smiles!”

Giovanna’s brother, TOWIE star Mario Falcone, also shared a throwback of himself with his nephew, writing: “Happy 2nd birthday to my little nephew Buzz!!! Can’t believe how quick it’s gone… Love you little man”.

We bet that Buzz had the best birthday ever!
