Yep, we're definitely excited now.
Original: Channel 4 and Netflix's dark comedy The End of the F***ing World has begun production on its second season.
Jessica Barden, who plays Alyssa in the show, tweeted a photo of the shooting script with her name on it and the date of March 1. The Netflix-owned Twitter account See What's Next has also posted that filming has officially started.

Related: The End of the F***ing World filmed a VERY different season one ending
Star Alex Lawther, who plays James, previously told Digital Spy about what he'd like the first scene of season two to be.
He said: "Jess used to talk about… there are some themes in series one where we're on the beach, and everything's coming to an end.
"She was saying how she would like the second series to start with a musical on the beach - taking a role in a musical version of The End of the F***ing World, which I would be completely up for!
"I'm not sure how Charlie [Covell, series writer] will take that, but we're going to push that idea as far as we can."
So if that does end up being the opening scene of the show's second run, remember that you read it here first.
The End of the F***ing World will return for its second series on Channel 4 in the UK, and Netflix in other regions. It will come to Netflix in the UK too, but not for at least a year after its TV airing.
