Yahoo News Enders horror as Louise may have life-changing injuries
EastEnders fans have been left wondering whether Louise Mitchell will be badly burned after a nasty showdown with Madison and Alexandra tonight (July 20).
The teen was all smiles as she headed to the school's big event with her love interest Travis Law-Hughes, but the night soon took a terrible turn thanks to Alexandra's horrible plan.
Having been excluded from school for bullying Bex Fowler, Alexandra was keen to ruin all the fun and recruited her sidekick Madison and troublemaker Keegan to wreak serious havoc.
Although the original plan was to set the sprinklers off and destroy everyone's nice prom attire, things quickly took a sinister turn when a jealous Alexandra and Madison watched Louise and Travis be crowned the prom's most beautiful couple.
Determined to ruin her moment, the jealous girls tracked Louise down in the candle-lit room she was enjoying with Travis and started to taunt her.
Only this time Louise wasn't having any of it and turned the tables on her former friends – demanding to know why they wanted to destroy everyone's happiness.
But as Louise gave the pair some much-needed home truths, the situation got drastically out of hand when Alexandra aggressively pushed her, prompting the schoolgirl to fall into an array of candles on the floor.
While viewers will have to wait until tomorrow to find out Louise's fate, it was suggested that her dress had caught fire when flames could be seen in the closing moments of the episode.
The prom was instantly thrown into chaos when the fire sprinkler system came on unexpectedly following the incident, but Bex's face told a very worrying story as she looked back at the frightening scene behind her.
Given that Louise was excitedly planning for a modelling career in the days leading up to the tragic event, her dreams are bound to be thrown into jeopardy after this – but just how badly injured is she? And will everyone else escape from unscathed?
EastEnders continues tomorrow (July 21) at 8pm on BBC One.
