A teenager has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a man in a hotel car park in Enfield.

A 20-year-old man remains in a critical condition in hospital after he was found with bullet wounds near the Lincoln Road Travelodge on April 5.

He is believed to have been shot whilst he sat in his car in the budget hotel’s car park at around 9.45pm.

Since the shooting, detectives have arrested three men - two aged 20 and one aged 21 – and an 18-year-old was arrested on Thursday.

Detective Chief Inspector Andrew Packer said: "The victim of this shooting currently remains in hospital in a critical condition and it is of paramount importance that anyone who witnessed or saw anything that night comes forward and speaks to us.

“The victim was in the car park of the Travelodge hotel and was shot at as he sat in a car. This is a really busy area, if you were in Lincoln Road near to Great Cambridge Road last Wednesday and remember anything no matter how small now is the time to say something."
