Welcome back to the Evening Standard's coverage of England vs Pakistan.

Zak Crawley turned his first-ever century into his first double-century as England stormed into control on day two against Pakistan.

The 22-year-old started the day on 171* and, despite failing to score in his first 40 attempts, moved to 267 before being dismissed.

Crawley's overnight companion Jos Buttler also hit an almighty 152, with England finally declaring on 583/8.

With 13 overs to attack with the ball, James Anderson took his 596th wicket with three quick dismissals as Pakistan were reduced to 24 for three at stumps.
