England's 10 most in-demand places for home buyers named by Rightmove and none of them are anywhere near London
Britain's most in-demand areas for buying properties have been revealed by Rightmove and not one is in London. In fact, not one of them is in England either - Scotland has dominated the market as figures show it is the quickest place in the UK to find a buyer averaging just 33 days.
Nationally in the UK, it takes about 60 days on average to secure a buyer for a property and in London it takes 63, according to their data. Rightmove also collated the data and discovered the slowest places to sell a home too with some places taking nearly a third of a year.
Let's take a look outside of Scotland however and see where trends show the property market is steaming ahead with sales. None of the top ten is in the South East and most are commuter towns to other big cities across the UK.

The fastest market outside of Scotland is in Whitehall on the outskirts of Bristol. Here it takes just 25 days to find a buyer with average prices coming in at £349,376. This is the same speed as last year's market in Whitehall too so there seems to be a trend in the area.
The second fastest outside Scotland is in Moston - a commuter town outside Manchester - where properties are being sold in 26 days on average for the low price of £195,992. This is an impressive increase for this area since last year - shaving 16 days off the average time to buy a property last year.
Downend - another Bristol suburb - was the third fastest outside Scotland with just 29 days to sell a property in the area, shaving three days off their average last year. Properties here cost a more meaty £410,535 on average.
The place where properties made their biggest jump in terms of how quickly they sold since last year was in Levenshulme - a Manchester commuter area. Here it took 30 days to sell a property on average, 17 days faster than it did last year. The average price here was £243,423.

But it is then followed by the North East and North West regions with 52 days and 58 days average time to find a buyer.
The slowest region to sell a property on average is in the East Midlands at 67 days, followed by Wales with 66 days and the East of England at 65.
