England's 'Lionesses' of football celebrated in London

The lights of London's Piccadilly Circus have replaced their usual advertisements with a message of congratulations to England's women's football team, known as the Lionesses, in the wake of their victory at the European Championship 2022.

A crowd of 7,000 fans thronged Trafalgar Square to give a rousing welcome to the women's team, who held up the European Championship trophy after their 2-1 win over Germany.
