An 11-year-old English bulldog had a hard time getting outside on Thursday, December 17, after more than a foot of snow buried the yard at her home in Hudson Falls, New York.
Footage taken by Amy Runnalls showed Penelope, who is also a rescue dog, dropping from the home steps into the snowy depths.
“I’m so sorry!” Runnalls can be heard saying in the video. She told Storyful she forgot to shovel the front steps for Penelope.
The National Weather Service reported more than 30 inches of snow fell in nearby Saratoga Springs. The powerful nor’easter brought record-breaking snow to much of the east coast. Credit: Amy Runnalls via Storyful
