Every English resident knows the county that they live in, right?
But how many other counties from around the country can you name in total?
There are 48 ceremonial counties, also often called geographic counties, in England. They’re defined as a definitive geographic region, not generally having direct administrative functions, but which has an appointed Lord-Lieutenant.
Some will be obvious, but might be a bit tougher to guess. See if you can get them all before the time runs out.
