Hundreds of environmental protesters blocked several major roads in Serbia on Saturday to protest against new laws that they say will give free rein to foreign mining companies in the country. Serbia's government has offered mineral resources to foreign companies including China's Zijin copper miner and Rio Tinto, but green activists claim that the projects like this one would pollute land and water in the whole country. The video filmed on Saturday (December 4) shows climate activists, marching and blocking main roads in the country's capital Belgrade.
