Chelsea remain in the Premier League title driving seat as the finish line approaches.

Antonio Conte's side eased past Southampton on Tuesday night and are four points clear of nearest challengers Tottenham, who claimed a spirited win at Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

But Mauricio Pochettino's side are refusing to throw in the towel and believe they are still capable of catching their capital foes.

Liverpool are third, having played one game more than the majority of their rivals.

Manchester City stay fourth after playing out an uninspiring 0-0 draw with Manchester United on Thursday night.

Jose Mourinho's side are fifth but Arsenal are now just four points adrift of the Red Devils - with one game in hand.

Arsene Wenger's side edged past Leicester on Wednesday and will have an opportunity to put themselves firmly back in the running for a Champions League place when they travel to Spurs this weekend.

Meanwhile, at the the wrong end of the table, Sunderland appear to be doomed after losing to relegation rivals Middlesbrough.

The Black Cats are 12 points from safety and require a miracle if they are to escape the drop.

Boro are also not out of danger, despite victory over David Moyes' men, while Swansea City occupy the final relegation place.
