Arsenal won their fourth game on the spin as they continued their climb up the Premier League table with a 2-0 victory over Everton at Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon,

The Gunners looked sluggish after the interval but it was Alexandre Lacazette who broke the deadlock, shifting onto his right foot before firing high into Jordan Pickford's net from the edge of the box.

And moments later Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made the points safe when Aaron Ramsey inadvertently shifted a low cross towards his Arsenal team-mate. Replays showed Aubameyang was occupying an offside position before sweeping past Pickford, but referee Jon Moss and his officiating team awarded the goal.

Meanwhile, Maurizio Sarri's perfect start to life in the Premier League was halted by London rivals West Ham as Chelsea were held to a goalless draw at the London Stadium earlier on Sunday.

The Blues dominated possession in the first period but were twice let off the hook when Michail Antonio was afforded the space to strike at Kepa Arrizabalaga's goal.

After the interval, Andriy Yarmolenko missed a glorious chance at the back post as West Ham looked to build on their first points of the campaign at Everton last weekend.

Chelsea pressed for a winner in the closing stages as Alvaro Morata, Eden Hazard and Willian went close but Sarri's side were forced to settle for a point.

Here’s how the Premier League table looks as things stand…
