The Equalizer star Queen Latifah has broken her silence after co-star Chris Noth was fired from the series back in December.
Noth was dropped from The Equalizer after three women accused the actor of sexual misconduct, with his final episode airing early in January. The actor has denied the allegations, stating that they are "categorically false".
In a new interview with PEOPLE TV, Queen Latifah said the whole situation has been "surreal".
"It's still surreal. It is such a dicey, delicate situation that requires a great deal of respect. That's a personal thing that he's going to have to deal with," she said.

The star also added that they are now trying to figure out how to move forward on the show and deal with Noth's absence.
"We are figuring out what we want to do creatively on the show and how we're going to deal with that character," Queen Latifah explained.
"Chris's character is obviously a big part of the show and it was amazing chemistry, amazing chemistry. And my feeling is justice has to prevail regardless.
"I just want the right things to be done, you know?"
Noth played series regular William Bishop, a 'quirky' ex-CIA director and an old friend of Queen Latifah's character Robyn McCall. In the show, he acts as a liaison between her and the spy agency on a regular basis.

EW confirmed that Noth had been fired from the CBS crime drama on December 20, after at least three women came forward with sexual assault allegations against the actor.
It came after Noth revived his role as Big in the highly-anticipated Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That for just one episode before the character was killed off.
Following reports of the allegations, the stars of the reboot, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, released a statement in support of the women who'd come forward, while a cameo scene featuring Big in the And Just Like That finale has since been edited out.
Additionally, fitness brand Peloton has since pulled their viral ad featuring Noth.
