An Essex pub has come into the spotlight for its amazing fish and chips - and also for being visited by some local Essex celebs! The Three Willows pub and restaurant in Bishops Stortford serves great British pub classics with a modern twist and is popular not just among locals - but even famous boy band members.

The Three Willows pub and restaurant re-opened its doors in February 2018 under new management with landlord and chef, Mark Boden. Together with the help of his father David Boden, they took over the tenancy from the previous landlord.

Both Mark and David saw the pub as an opportunity to create a new local business in the area, while keeping a traditional part of the village alive. David has lived in the area for over 16 years and Mark grew up there so they know how important a good local pub is to the community.

Not just celebrities love the spot; locals love it for its fish and chips and brilliant service. One reviewer said of the spot: "Delicious fish and chips, good service and a lovely inviting atmosphere." Another said: "Had the fish and chips and sorbet and both tasted amazing."
