Garden centres are a popular thing to do on the weekends year round - but one garden centre has got a festive draw too, and has now opened its Nordic Christmas Market. There are plenty of things to do and eat this year, with it set to be a firm family favourite.

View Garden Centre in Wickford is a huge garden centre with much to buy and see. As a local family run garden centre, View says that customers can expect excellent friendly service, backed up with traditional family values.

Their Nordic Christmas market is completely full up this year, with 30 unique stalls and lots of gifts to buy for loved ones and family. They also have a delicious festive food hut, serving street food and sweet treats.

Of course, no Christmas market is complete without the chance to meet Santa. He will be there, too, in his very own grotto.

The thing that really sets this market apart from the crowd is its list of tastings and events. Free to attend, View Garden Centre has events such as Christmas Wreath making and Christmas Pudding tastings on its list, perfect as a way to get into the festive spirit.

There are plenty of drinks and food to purchase while you visit the centre - including Jeremy Clarkson's very own Hawkstone Cider, mulled wine and prosecco. You can book tickets to the events here.
