A well-loved restaurant in Essex has been presented with Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award four years in a row. Brohmon, the award-winning restaurant in Stansted Mountfitchet, serves Indian and authentic Bengali dishes. The restaurant has won several awards since opening in March 2020.

Big foodies themselves, owners Karim and Sultana have lovingly created their restaurant with people at the heart. Bromon, meaning “journey” in Bengali, uses local ingredients in their pursuit to make themselves the place to go in Essex for an unforgettable experience. Based in a small Essex village, Brohmon really stands out and has even been given the title “Best Restaurant in Essex” at the British Restaurant Awards.

Reviews from the experts are not the only comments that are glowing. One reviewer on Tripadvisor, Missy Sara, commented “Not just for the great cuisine, but also for the kind hospitality that makes you feel like a valued guest, Brohmon is a restaurant that I strongly recommend. This is a dining experience that you need to try since it offers wonderful cuisine together with hospitality that makes you feel at home.”

Another, Evan T, shared: “Food was the freshest, hottest and well portioned indian takeaway we have had in a long time. They even threw in a 'suprise' tray which was nice for dipping our poppadoms in. 100% worth the try and this will probably be our go to indian takeaway now!”

And user amandahX6690WR, wrote: “We had a wonderful family dinner at Brohmon, this restaurant is a gem! The food was delicious, and the owner and staff were friendly. Loved that, where possible, the food is locally sourced - enjoyed the gin aperitif too! Highly recommend!”
