An Essex man was left in disbelief after discovering he had bagged himself a dream car while at work. Kevin Domingo, from Southend, has won a Land Rover.

The win was part of the Dream Car Competition run by online competition specialist BOTB. Presenter Christian Williams surprised Kevin outside his office with the impressive car, which was parked nearby.

Kevin said to Christian at the time: "It’s absolutely insane and I did not expect this. I had some competition credit, so I thought I would just give it a go. If you don’t take a chance, nothing good will happen.”

The Land Rover Defender 90 V8 features a supercharged engine, 518 break horse power and top speed of 149mph. Kevin added: "I love the style of the car because it’s very close to what the original was."

Christian said: “A massive congratulations to Kevin for winning this fantastic car, which is an absolute monster with over 500bhp and a masterpiece on the outside and inside. When we found out where he works, we decided to go and surprise him and was hoping he would be in the office.

“I’m so glad he was because he clearly didn’t have a clue what was going on and his reaction when he walked outside and saw the car was brilliant.”

BOTB was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999, it has given away £67m-worth of cars so far. It hands over the keys to a person's dream car each week as well as a lifestyle prize.
