Essex motorcyclist killed in three-vehicle crash in Cambridgeshire is named by police
A motorcyclist who died following a three-vehicle crash in Cambridgeshire has been named as a man from Essex. James Layzell, 30, was riding his motorbike when he was involved in the tragic collision on the A505 in Pampisford.
Emergency services rushed to The Causeway at around 5.15pm on September 18 after the crash involving a Yamaha R125, a delivery van and a Mercedes AMG. James, from Felsted, was riding the Yamaha but sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes, a woman in her 60s, was not injured. A man, 49, from Kettering who was driving the van was also not injured. He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on bail until December 15.

A Cambs Police spokesperson said: "Police have named a motorcyclist who died following a three-vehicle collision on the A505 in Pampisford. Emergency services were called to The Causeway at about 5.15pm on Wednesday, September 18, with reports of a collision involving a Yamaha R125, a delivery van and a Mercedes AMG.
"James Layzell, 30, of Chaffix, Felsted, in Essex, who was riding the Yamaha motorcycle died at the scene. The driver of the van, a 49-year-old man from Kettering, was not injured. He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and released on bail until 15 December.
"The driver of the Mercedes, a woman in her 60s, was not injured.
