The Essex roller skating rink with prices from £10 that is one of the last of its kind
Roller skating used to be all the rage, however it has died out in recent years with many parents taking their kids to inside trampoline parks instead. There are not many roller skating rinks left in Essex, but this one is definitely worth a visit due to its cheap prices and the range of events that are going on over the summer holidays.
RollaCity in Rochford will fill all of your day out needs, comprising a cafe and a bar, with both daytime skating sessions and evening sessions available. The events at RollaCity are very popular, as it makes for a much more unique night out.
Events that are being held includes 80's nights, where everyone dresses up as 80's icons and skate to some of the biggest tunes of the decade. Rollacity also holds family evenings and over 18's nights, making it a great place to visit with either your kids or your friends.

New for this year, the rink has also introduced loyalty cards for summer 2024. With every five skating sessions, visitors will get one free, including skate hire - making it a pretty budget-friendly day out.
The roller rink also got a glimpse of fame over ten years ago. The cast and crew of The Only Way is Essex descended on Rollacity on Wednesday October 9 in 2013 to film an episode of the latest series.
Three camera and production crews filled the building from early in the morning, with filming starting around lunchtime. Rollacity said that the cast members arrived throughout the day and evening and all worked very professionally to finish the shoot in the time allocated.
Tickets are available from £10 for both evening and daytime sessions. You can even hire the venue out, and use it as a spot for the most fun party ever!
