Essex seafront to be transformed into 'winter wonderland' with pony rides and ice rink

Christmas on the beach is something that is normally only thought to happen in Australia. This year, however, Christmas is coming to Canvey Seafront, and it’s set to be the most magical event of the season!

On November 23 and 24 from 12-7pm Canvey Seafront will be transformed into a winter wonderland filled with holiday cheer, twinkling lights, and festive fun for the whole family. Get ready to meet Santa and his friends as they make a special visit to Canvey Island, spreading joy and smiles everywhere they go!

Visiting Canvey said on Facebook: "Imagine strolling through a winter wonderland filled with twinkling lights, the sound of cheerful carols in the air, and the warm, inviting smells of festive treats all around.

"Whether you're young or young at heart, there’s something special for everyone to experience. This is more than just an event—it’s a celebration of holiday spirit, community, and family fun that will fill your heart with Christmas cheer!"

At Christmas Time on Canvey Seafront, there are plenty of fun activities to take part in. Some of these include a Santa's Sleigh, a festive ice rink and funfair rides.

There will also be a Christmas market, complete with yummy festive street food and nostalgic pony rides. Of course, Santa will be making an appearance in his grotto, alongside live entertainment and a special Only Fools and Horses stall.

From enchanting decorations to cosy holiday treats, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Bring the family, your friends, and all the holiday spirit you can muster – this is a weekend you won’t want to miss!
