Essex Little Mix star Jesy Nelson has opened up about the moment she realised she was pregnant with twins. The singer, from Brentwood, only announced her pregnancy a couple of weeks ago, sharing a photo of herself and on-off boyfriend Zion Foster, 26, who cradled her bare baby bump.

Alongside the image, Jesy, 33, teasingly wrote: "She's eating for 3 now." While clearly excited to welcome her first children and grow her family with Zion, Jesy revealed that she was taken by surprise to find out she was having two babies. She hosted a Q&A on her Instagram Stories, and shared how her pregnancy was going with fans, The Mirror reports.

“OMG! How are you? How did you find out you were having twins? Were you surprised?” one follower asked, with Jesy revealing: “Very very shocked… it wasn’t planned but I instantly felt happy as soon as I saw that I was.”

Another fan asked what Jesy’s “initial reaction” was when she found out she was going to be a mum, and she reiterated her surprise. “When I found out we were having twins Zion and me were super shocked… although a lot of our friends guessed it way before our scan as I was showing very early,” she wrote.

In another couple of posts, Jesy admitted that while she was over the moon to be welcoming twins, she wasn’t having the easiest pregnancy so far. After a fan said she was “looking slay,” Jesy responded: “Thank you I don’t bloody feel it… but just so grateful and blessed to be having twins!” Another follower asked her how she was feeling, and Jesy shared: “I’ve been very sick where I’m having twins so constant vomiting 24/7… but other than that feeling very blessed.”

Jesy is already being very open about her motherhood journey, amid rumours that she might team up with ITV to get her own reality TV show charting her early days as a mum.

Soon after her pregnancy announcement, a source told The Sun: "Jesy is the perfect fit for an ITVBE style reality show which would watch her becoming a first time mum. There is a gap in the market now Ferne McCann has stepped back from her fly-on-the-wall series and Jesy would be an incredible person to sign up."

According to the source, production company bosses failed to secure a soap actress to document her pregnancy, and Jesy could be a great alternative. They claimed: "The production company who made the show were targeting Michelle Keegan but it’s likely they’ll never get that off the ground.

"Jesy’s surprise news has turned their heads and they think she would be a perfect fit. She also has a younger audience appeal and has so many fans who have stuck by her since her Little Mix days.” Jesy's representatives were contacted for comment by The Mirror.
