Protesters sang Ethiopia's national anthem outside the British embassy in Addis Ababa, on Thursday 25 November. The mood in Ethiopia has soured sharply against the West, with the government accusing it of peddling misinformation about the ongoing civil war. Ethiopia also expelled several Irish diplomats on 24 November. Critics say the government is trying to distract attention from its handling of the war.
